In recent years, gas sold by China's top 6 city gas company accounts for the nation's 30% gas consumption. China's stricter environmental policy also creates a further basis to improve the city gas sales performance by pushing traditional coal boiler users to turn to natural gas. | |||
By 2022.12, there are 4,781 city gas franchised zones in China. Among them, 3,420 zones connect to upstream natural gas pipelines, 1,808 zones use LNG as main gas supply source or for peak-shaving purpose, 2,091 zones use CNG as main gas supply source or for vehicle fuel. |
